Three renowned hospitals are contributing their leaders to help connect, educate, and advance the field of medical social work. Together, we will delve into the critical role medical social workers play in supporting patients and families as they navigate complex healthcare challenges. This training series is tailored for social work professionals and students, offering valuable insights and practical tools to elevate the quality of care in medical settings.

4/9 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. MST: Assessing for Suicide in Patients with End Stage Chronic Illness Presented by Tiffany Coco from Mayo Clinic

4/16 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. MST: Ethical Practice in Medical Social Work Presented by Kiyara Iravanian from Banner Health

4/23 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. MST: Racial Disparities in Healthcare Presented by Jennifer Riggins from Phoenix Children's Hospital

Each session is worth 1.5 CEUs (*pending NASW approval) with all three worth 4.5 CEUs (*pending NASW approval). Pricing ranges from $10 for 1 session to $25 for all three.
