Strategies for Creating Accessible PDFs and Word Documents
This 45-minute session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff and TAs.
This session will be held online.
Ensure your documents reach all learners by applying foundational accessibility strategies in Word and PDF formats. In this session, you’ll learn how to build accessible Word documents using headings, alt text, meaningful links, and color contrast—and how to preserve those features when converting to PDF. You’ll also explore how to evaluate the accessibility of your documents using built-in tools and screen readers. Whether you're just getting started or need a structured refresher, this workshop will give you practical steps to design more inclusive learning materials.
