History of the Future: They Live

Join ASU’s Center for Science and the Imagination in partnership with Majestic Neighborhood Cinema in Tempe to view They Live (1988) on the silver screen. This screening is part of a greater film series: History of the Future, exploring gripping, cinematic visions of the future across the past five decades.
Do aliens exist? Are they among us? Do they live like us? Are they controlling us? Join us on August 21st and watch Roddy Piper as Nada, a construction worker that finds some special shades that let him see some things differently.
The film will be introduced by Matt Bell, a professor within the English department at ASU with a number of publications.
