Join Research Computing for: GPU Day 2025

An engaging exploration of AI's transformative potential and its role in shaping the future of research and innovation. Whether you are a seasoned AI researcher or just beginning your journey, this workshop promises valuable insights and inspiration for all attendees.

GPU Day is an annual one-day expo hosted by ASU Research Computing to educate faculty, students, and staff on how to use GPUs on the Sol supercomputer. The intent is to inspire and motivate our research community to use Research Computing's supercomputing systems and to showcase the important applications of these powerful GPU resources.

This event will include in-depth and interactive training for unleashing the potential of GPUs and AI in software acceleration, harnessing large language models, and tutorials with special guests from NVIDIA.

The schedule is coming soon, in the meantime attendees can look forward to these exciting sessions:

  • GPU Kickoff: Supercharge Your Skills - ASU Research Computing's first GPU Bootcamp
  • Simplifying Research Workflows with Containers on Supercomputers
  • Four Ways of GPU Computing with NVIDIA
  • Accelerating Vector Search with RAPIDS cuVS with NVIDIA
  • Running AlphaFold3 on the Sol Supercomputer
  • Researcher Showcase
  • Beyond Text: Harnessing the Potential of Large Language Models for Innovation

Please note, this event is in-person only. Seating per session will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
