MORE ABOUT THE EXHIBITED WORKS

NOIRE (COLORED) is the winner of the Immersive Competition at the Cannes Festival in 2024. Noire (Colored) is an augmented reality installation that highlights the relentless fight against racial violence and injustice. Inspired by Tania De Montaigne's historical essay Noire, this 35-minute immersive experience leverages HoloLens technology to tell the story of Claudette Colvin, a courageous fifteen-year-old who defied segregation by refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger on a bus in Alabama. With a seamless integration of physical and virtual realities, this 360° immersive experience offers an engaging and profoundly transformative interaction. Produced By: Novaya in collaboration with Centre Pompidou, co-produced by Flash Forward Entertainment (Taiwan).

EMPEROR is a 40-minute interactive and narrative experience that puts you inside the brain of a man suffering from aphasia. You not only share the experience of a father who has lost his ability to speak, but also hear the story of his daughter, who is trying to communicate with him. You join her quest to unravel the past that he can no longer talk about, and discover how his relationship to words is connected to his memories. Emperor is produced by Atlas V and Albyon Studio. It won the Venice Immersive Achievement Prize 2023.

IMPULSE: PLAYING WITH REALITY is a 40-minute interactive mixed reality narrative about how you make sense of the world around you, told through the stories of four people who are coming to terms with the decisions which have chartered their lives. Impulse is the winner of the Venice Immersive Achievement Award at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
