Earth Day Walk 2025

Join University Sustainability Practices in partnership with SRP for the free ASU Earth Day Walk at Mountain America Stadium. This unique celebration of sustainability includes a 1.5 mile or 3 mile option depending on walker preference. The 1.5 mile walk symbolizes the urgent need to limit global warming to 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels. The 3 mile walk symbolizes the pillars of sustainability: environmental, economic and social. This event welcomes all who wish to contribute to a greener tomorrow including all students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members. The first 200 participants will receive an Earth Day Every Day T-shirt or bandana! As participants complete the walk, we invite you to visit the sustainability partner tabling fair located in the stadium at the Coca Cola Sun Deck, to learn about sustainability, enjoy light snacks, play games and even win fun prizes! 

Additionally, ASU has partnered with Move for Hunger, a Sun Devil owned business, to host a nonperishable food drive during the event. Move for Hunger is offering $250 to the student organization that brings the most participants to the walk AND $250 to the student organization that brings the most unopened, nonperishable food items to the food drive.

Light snacks will be provided, but please be sure to bring a reusable bottle for water!
