Arizona State University presents its 14th Día De Los Niños, Día De Los Libros, a celebration of youth, languages, literacies and cultures.
Día De Los Niños, Día De Los Libros 2025 is in-person and online! This international event takes place on ASU's Tempe campus on Thursday, Apr. 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Arizona time (5-8 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time). It will also be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing. The event is for kids in 6-12th grades; attendees must be sponsored by their schools (teachers must register on behalf of their students).
The Flores Family Award will be announced and presented at the event. The award is named in honor of ASU Día founder Tracey Flores, for advocacy in support of family literacy, cultural celebration, books, kids and reading.
El Día is hosted by the ASU Department of English and Arizona Humanities. Other sponsors include the ASU Foundation and ASU's Office of the President, Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, humanities division of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and President's Professor Fund.
